Exhibits, Events, and Art Hop
The Georgetown Art Center offers exhibits, with their companion artist talks and receptions, all free to the public. The exhibits range from solo shows to group shows with a singular topic or theme. All exhibits are curated by our exhibit committee which includes locally renowned artists. Annually, we host Art Hop, along with the Georgetown Library. Art Hop is our largest, juried show with cash prizes and features hundreds of art works from Texas artists in multiple categories.
Art Hop is one of the best places in Texas to catch rising stars. Frequently an artist will get a few pieces into Art Hop, then the next year they apply for and get a solo show, then the state art scene pays attention, and the future is bright.

Gift Shop
We have a small, but lovingly curated gift shop adjacent to the main exhibit gallery with many unique, locally made items.
First Floor Studio
Adjacent to the main exhibit gallery we have a multi-use studio space. The building’s historic windows offer wonderful natural light and is a great space for Art Classes of all types. Our education partner, Cordovan Art School, has a wide variety of adult and children’s classes & camps that are taught by experienced instructors. The space can be rented by community organizations and non-profits for art-related activities. Check our calendar for availability.

Artists@816
Upstairs at the Georgetown Art Center you’ll find the new Artists @ 816 – the home of five amazing artist studios. The artists partner with us for popup shows and have their own set of virtual talks on their Facebook page.
